Roethlisberger has announced his retirement.In a video posted to Twitter on Thursday morning,
Roethlisberger thanked his fans and reflected on his football career. He announced his retirement
from the NFL while sitting with his family.I can't express what football means to me,
and how much it's been a blessing,” Roethlisberger says in the video's opening.
The game has given me so much, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for what it has given me.
During his 18-year career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Roethlisberger won
three Super Bowls (XL, XLIII, and XLV), beating the Seattle Seahawks (XL) and Arizona Cardinals (XLV) (XLIII).Big Ben
